Design Engineer – Mechanical (Location: Pune)

Job requirements include designing different types of solar PV power plants as per relevant standards; preparing drawings, documentation and bills of materials, and checklists and SOPs; conducting cost optimization and shadow analysis; and evaluating RFQs and tenders. The role also involves assisting with business and project development and providing technical support and guidance to junior staff. Traveling to project sites, vendor and contractor locations for surveying may be required.

Candidates should preferably have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and a minimum of 3 years experience. They should be competent in using MS Excel or Google Sheets, Google SketchUp, and AutoCAD, and optionally with STAAD Pro and PVsyst.

O&M Engineer (Solar PV) (Location: Kolhapur)

Job requirements include monitoring performance of solar PV power plants; determining and cross-checking plant performance parameters; scheduling and executing preventive and corrective maintenance; tracing out problems and developing action plans; coordinating with OEMs and contractors; ensuring performance of O&M activities in line with requirements and warranties; take responsibility for all necessary repairs and maintenance and for monitoring warranty claims; and recording faults and rectifying log books. The role also involves preparing weekly and monthly reports, responding to emergency callouts, and traveling to project sites, and vendor and contractor locations.

Candidates for this role should be able to travel and work on-call during off-shift hours, and should have a valid driving license and, preferably, a motorcycle.
